Suitable fabrics:

Medium Weight: woven cottons, oxford, chambray, poplin, shirting, linen, viscose, rayon challis. Loose weave or slightly slippery or drapey fabric will cause a challenge when preparing and sewing the bias binding of Style A, especially if you are a beginner sewer. If you want to avoid this, you may forgo light-weight linen, viscose and rayon challis.

Heavy Weight: corduroy, denim, canvas, wool suiting. If your fabric is very thick, cut the facings, side pockets, and one each of the flower pockets in a lighter weight fabric.

Depending on the lenght that you desire (floor, cropped or short), see picture.
