A beautiful waistcoat for women from merchant and Mills, softly structured with a boxy fit, two welt pockets and a simple stitched belt at the back. Layer up in the winter or wear on its own in the summer in a stonewashed linen.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Skill level; Intermediate. (Leaving the welt pockets off would make it an advanced beginner make)

Suitable fabrics - linen, lightweight denim, wool, wool blend, canvas, lightweight corduroy, cotton twill.
For the lining: cotton muslin, lightweight linen, lawn.

with fabrics 150 / 140 cm wide 1 mt or 1.30 mt of fabric should be enough for all sizez.
with fabrics 120 / 110 cm wide 1.20 / 1.30 mt of fabrics should be enough for all sizes.
