The Naomi Blazer is our contemporary take on the traditional blazer, combining age-old tailoring techniques with modern design features to create a piece that feels fresh and feminine.

The hourglass silhouette is accentuated with 6 darts and a curved side seam and the collar and lapel shape is bold without distracting from the rest of the garment. You'll find the slanted chest pocket both useful and flattering with the low position making it handy for storing sunglasses (without disrupting the bust shape) while also visually elongating the torso.

We’ve kept the core elements of blazer making while letting go of some of the complex processes to make sure it's accessible and fun to sew. If you'd prefer some guidance with sewing this piece you can check out the online workshop at modernsewing.com.
