Viscoses tend to shrink by 5 to 7%, so it’s important to wash the fabric before cutting it and take this shrinkage rate into account when calculating your footage.
In order to preserve your beautiful fabrics, we recommend washing them before sewing them, this step will stabilize your fabric.
- Wash your fabric in a washing net to preserve the colors.
- Choose a soft laundry without a whitening agent.
- Wash your fabric with a delicate program or silk temperature max 30°
- gentle spin (max 800 turns)
- Dry your laundry in the open air, taking care to smooth it out of the machine, dryer prohibited, of course!
- Iron at medium temperature (150°).
